Hello, can you help me fix this problem? I am using http://www.000webhost.com to host my flux cp, they support both mysql database and php. After uploading my flux cp files and entering my password, there was a install and update everything prompted and asking for mysql username and password, when I entered my 000webhost mysql username and password, it gives me this error page:

Error
An error occurred while trying to process your request.
Please try contacting an administrator: admin@localhost

What does it mean by MySQL? What was my Flux CP pointing at?

Bonus Question:

How to install Calciumkid's Flux CMS Addon v1.2? The installation guide in his thread is outdated...

Is there a real reason you necro'd a post that's more than 3 years old? The error tells you that your SQL credentials are wrong.

Go to config/error.php :

Find these :

$showExceptions = false; // Whether or not to show exceptions (only applies to error.php)

Set to

$showExceptions = true; // Whether or not to show exceptions (only applies to error.php)

Submit all errors here and we can help you.

Hi chatterboy,

Not in this case. 000webhost generates a PDO Exception because it does not allow external SQL connections for their free hosting.

Hi chatterboy,

Look at what Patskie wrote. It's been said and done.
